It is a clear fact that Bravo Carmen’s design has quality. At least that is how the members of the jury of the Laus awards have opined, where Bravo Carmen has won the silver distinction. It is another award for Bravo Carmen that adds to the distinction obtained by the international Pentawards awards a few weeks ago.

The Laus Awards were created in 1964 by the then-called Association of FAD Graphics. The trajectory of the awards has been adapted to the evolution of the disciplines of graphic design and visual communication. In its 2020 edition, the 50th in its history, the ADG Laus Awards gain international dimension and are consolidated as awards and a key professional appointment.

Until reaching Silver, the design has had to overcome a first round in which each member of the jury has unlimited votes. To pass this first filter you must have at least half of the votes of the jury. Already in the second round, in which each member of the jury has only three votes. A Silver is the project that, having been selected first, obtains half plus one vote from the jury.

According to the proposal of the Maba studio, in charge of the design ‘Such a traditional name immediately suggests a folkloric ideology of tablaos and striking posters. The proposal for the brand goes through an update of that graphic universe, without losing its powdery and nostalgic essence. We provide a renewal of traditional codes in a way of certain sophistication to turn the souvenir into a more seductive object. ‘
